Katrina 132,187,27 – Apropos of our post about Cheshyr’s Landing at Gallifrey there is also “The Dr. Who Experience”, with a large SF-themed shopping area and (under construction) an amazing replica of the Cardiff secret offices of “Torchwood”. (Post by Maggie)

Timeless Underground
RavKom 37,209,24 – Timless Underground is a very fine little dance club owned by Timeless Prototype, developer of the famous Multi Gadget. Come out and meet manager Moixe Grumby, and her partner Rane Mokeev and the other TU live DJs.
Oh, by the way: the club is in damage-enabled space, which adds an amazing edge to the feel…so behave yourself.
International Spaceflight Museum
Spaceport Alpha 48,83,24 – Nobody who has an interest in astronautics should miss the spectacular International Spaceflight Museum. This huge multi-sim venue has interactive exhibits and full-scale, professional quality replicas of just about every real-life spacecraft that has ever flown.
There’s a large theater streaming NASA TV, too.
Maggie rates this one five-stars plus.

Sio’s Walkabouts, 2/7/2008
Oceanside dAlliez 20,30,501 – Hathor Sands does some fantastic weapons, under the “Bullet Theory” name, including a .45 Long Colt that’s simply amazing. The amazing Phoenix Combat System for vehicles, and ACS combat system for avatars, also come from this impressive shop, as well as a series of automated wait-staff. Worth a look!

Tech Expo
Tech Expo 155,82,241 – Tech Expo is a huge, spacious mall that brings together dozens of the very best vendors of vehicles, weapons and other technology for Second Life under one roof.
http://www.techexpoisland.com serves as a guide to the shops, but sometimes updates to it lag.
Yadni’s Crazy Techs
Leda 115,122,66 – Yadni’s Crazy Tech store has vendors for a wide variety of products that will appeal to the geek, nerd, SF fan or otaku in you.
Caledon, Steampunk central
Caledon 194,183,23 – While I do not always find every manifestation labelled “steampunk” appealing, The Independant State of Caledon is well wrth the time spent for a visit. The builds are visually stunning, harmonious, interesting and well-thought out. Don’t miss Ordinal Malaprop’s lighthouse shop, Marconi, Maxim and Tesla Associates, or any of a dozen other places there I haven’t even been yet.
I should add as a postscript that Caledon is actually four adjacent sims.

Sio’s Walkabout, 2/6/2008
Yeolmae 202,192,79 – The Hombo Ki-Aikido Dojo is beautiful and serene, with pictures of O-Sensei and Koichi Tohei on the wall and beautiful landscaping all around.
Yeolmae 44,177,64 – The Dojo Dragonash at Elephant Gods is next door to Hondo Dojo, a Samurai tradition training dojo and another beautiful build. A Must-See for the martial arts enthusiast. From the notecard: “Creating and sharing edge culture through music, film, art, design and theatre, ELEPHANT GODS is a technological collective for content creation, production, post and promotion. We are developing works for this world and the other, and will be hosting happenings to introduce them in SL. Cheshyr’s Landing at Gallifrey
Gallifrey 128,164,567 – Dr. Who fans in particular, and science-fiction fans of all kinds will love this magnificent space station build by Cheshyr Pontchartrain of Novatech fame. It’s elaborate, beautiful, and has some of the best vendors of SF-related wares on the grid.
Our Home
Nogojiri 11,209,21 – note This is Faithhold, our place on the water in Nogojiri. A quarter of it is public, the part with the garden, trees, and stargates. The other three-quarters are private, protected by a polite security system. The public area is nice to watch sunsets from, and benches are there for that purpose.
